Be In The Moment Through Mindfulness Practice
Increasing the ability to be in the moment through grounding and mindfulness practices can go a long way. Even through the busyness of life one can practice mindfulness in as little as a minute.
Think of your five senses; sight, sound, taste, touch and smell. What scent is calming to you? What sound is soothing (I like wind chimes.) Is there a texture that can calm you through touch such as something silky or soft?
As far as sight, maybe concentrating on something creative can be grounding. Taste? Try chewing on a Jelly Belly and guessing the flavor…where in your mouth are you experiencing the taste? So many different ways to practice!
Hope this inspires you to be in the moment!
